Privacy at Wile

How Wile handles data.

This notice describes data used by the Wile website, account service, Mac app, runner and remote connection relay.

Accounts and devices

Wile uses Google Identity Platform for Google sign-in and email/password accounts, including email verification and password resets. That service handles passwords and authentication. Wile’s account service uses your account identifier, email address and verification status to establish your session.

The account service stores account and access-plan records, approved device names and public keys, authorization and session records, and security-related events. These records support sign-in, device approval, access entitlements, revocation and abuse prevention. Service hosting also processes request and connection information, including network addresses.

Workflows and external services

Workflow configuration, run history and working files are stored on the device running the workflow. A connected runner can be that device. Providers and tools you choose can send prompts, files, outputs and other task data to external services, under those services’ own privacy practices. Choosing a local model does not prevent a workflow’s other tools from contacting external services.

Remote connections

Wile’s relay routes encrypted messages between connected devices. Routing and authorization still involve connection metadata, including device and channel identifiers, connection timing and network addresses. Encryption of message content does not remove that metadata.

Feedback and support

Feedback and contact messages are voluntary. Wile stores the message, report ID, source, status and support notes, together with your account or device identifier when signed in and any contact details you provide. Authorized operators can review these records. Notification services may process report details to alert the support team.

Where a report offers optional diagnostics, attaching them requires your consent. Those diagnostics are limited to app and operating-system versions, access status and backend availability. Avoid including passwords, private files or other sensitive information in message text.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies maintain sessions and protect requests. Google sign-in also uses Google’s authentication services. Pending feedback and contact submissions can be saved in your browser until acknowledged or discarded, so you can retry a failed submission. Clearing browser storage can remove those drafts.

Access, deletion and questions

You can sign out and revoke devices from your account. Those actions do not delete your account or local workflow data. For access or deletion requests, or questions about this notice, email feedback@wile.ai with your account email and the request. There is no automatic account-deletion control in the product.
